The duration of the patent is until 2039.

With this patent, SCM Life Science is evaluated to have seized an opportunity to preoccupy the pancreatitis stem cell treatment market. Scm Life Science' stem cell therapy "SCM-AGH" is currently undergoing phase 2a clinical trials for acute pancreatitis.
